Role:
Biomedical Technician providing on-site service support for medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare facilities in the Sarasota/Bradenton FL area. Primary objective s include diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on biomedical devices to ensure compliance and safety.
Responsibilities:- evaluate equipment issues
- execute repairs
- conduct safety and environmental inspections
- maintain documentation
- communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction
- an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of medical equipment service experience, or equivalent military training
- or a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience
- knowledge of electronic circuitry
- ability to interpret schematic diagrams
- electro-mechanical understanding
- physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- service in healthcare settings
- compliance with regulatory and hospital protocols
- physical capacity for after-hours and on-call work
- and no visa sponsorship
Work setup is onsite, with required physical agility and availability for rotating shifts.
