Schedule

• Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday, Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Physical Therapist to join a busy outpatient clinic in Canarsie, Brooklyn. In this full-time, on-site role, you will evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, build individualized plans of care, and help patients recover movement, reduce pain, and return to daily activity. This is a strong opportunity for a PT who enjoys one-on-one patient care in a collaborative outpatient setting with a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and re‑assessments of outpatient physical therapy patients.
• Develop and carry out individualized plans of care with clear goals.
• Provide hands‑on treatment, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self‑management.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and on time in the EMR.
• Supervise and work with physical therapy assistants and aides, where applicable.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow clinic policies and state and payer documentation requirements.
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, or equivalent degree as required for licensure).
• Active New York State Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Outpatient or orthopedic experience preferred. New graduates will be considered.
• Strong clinical reasoning, manual skills, and patient communication.
• Comfortable with EMR documentation.
• Ability to work the on‑site schedule listed above.
