• Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (14:45 - 23:15)
• Weekend Coverage: WEEKENDS ONLY - 8-hour Shifts

Job Description

This position is in a state-run long-term care facility that includes rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care services. The facility has a capacity of 300 beds and is seeking professionals to provide quality care to a diverse patient population, specifically those with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Certification Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Shift Requirements

• Must work every other weekend as required by the center.
• Shift times are fixed and cannot be changed once offered.
• Call-outs must be communicated with ample notice, at least 24 hours in advance.

Compliance and Orientation

• Compliance processing takes approximately 1.5 to 2 weeks.
• Orientation is conducted every 2 weeks, and attendance is mandatory.
• Modules must be completed 3 days prior to the start date; access will be provided after acceptance of an offer.

Required Licenses

• Must possess a valid New York State License.
• No license hits are allowed; proof of license is required at the time of submission.

Additional Information

• All shifts begin 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and end 15 minutes after.
• Overtime is not readily available and must be approved on a case-by-case basis.
• Canadian citizens are not accepted; applicants must be American citizens.
• One verified reference is required for submission; a second reference must be provided prior to the contract start.
• Candidates must complete any necessary labs within 48 hours of signing to avoid cancellation.
