Position Overview:
The Children’s Village Home and Community Behavioral Health Services
Program provides a variety of preventive services to Seriously Emotionally Disturbed, Developmentally Disabled and Medically Fragile children ages 0 to 21 living in Region V which includes Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Westchester, Ulster Counties, and well as the 5 boroughs of NYC. All of the services are goal-oriented and are geared toward promoting the child and family’s independence and graduation from the program.
The program uses full-time and per-diem staff to provide Child and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) services.
The Home and Community Services Supervisor’s primary objective is to supervise Home and Community Service Providers and ensure they are meeting all obligations and responsibilities as outlined in the agency and program policy and procedure manuals; and well as HCBS and CFTSS service rules. The supervisor, through ongoing and direct supervision, ensures that the CSS complete timely and accurate reports and complete appropriate related trainings.
Position Qualifications
:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Licensed Psychologist, with at least 2 years of work experience.
