$105000 - $115000 per year | Katonah, NY | On-site | Permanent
A bit about us:We’re a long-standing nonprofit supporting adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our residential and day programs are built around individualized, person-centered care. We believe great behavioral support changes lives, and we’re looking for a clinical leader who wants to be in the work, not watching it from a distance. If you want real influence over how care is delivered, and a leadership team that speaks your clinical language, we’d love to meet you.
Whyjoin us?
- Your boss speaks BCBA
- You’ll report to an executive leader who is a BCBA, so you get real clinical mentorship rather than having to explain the basics. - True Director-level impact
- You’ll lead a team of 7–8 and shape behavioral programming, quality of care, and clinical operations across the organization. - Ready to step up? We’re open to it. Strong clinical supervisors and managers who are ready for their first Director title are encouraged to apply.
- Benefits from Day 1 - Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance start on your hire date. Dental, vision, and life insurance are fully employer-paid.
- We invest in your growth. You’ll have access to a leadership development program, a clear career ladder, and tuition assistance.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary clinical team, including an Assistant Director, Behavior Intervention Specialists, and QIDPs.
- Oversee behavioral assessments, behavior support plans, and intervention strategies, and use data to drive program improvements.
- Step in hands‑on during complex behavioral situations, and coach staff through crisis intervention.
- Ensure clinical documentation, consents, and behavior programming meet state regulatory standards. You’ll also guide intake and discharge processes.
- Partner with residential, day program, and executive teams. You’ll also join a periodic administrator‑on‑call rotation.
- Active BCBA (preferred) or LCSW in good standing.
- Master’s degree in psychology, ABA, social work, or a related human services field.
- 5+ years of experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Strong ABA background, including building function‑based behavior support plans and data‑driven goals.
- Proven experience supervising clinical staff. OPWDD or residential/day hab experience is a plus, not a must.
