The Double Tree by Hilton is Hiring an Assistant Banquet Manager The Assistant Banquet Manager will assist in coordinating activities and directing the training of Banquet staff to ensure superior quality of service and room arrangements for all meetings and banquet functions. Compensation: $14 to $16 per hour, plus gratuities. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
• In support of or in the absence of the Banquet Manager, direct the proper set-up and breakdown of all banquet functions.
• Ensure employee and guest safety during the set-up and arrangement of banquet functions.
• Direct the proper service of food and beverages in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Conducts pre-function meetings with staff to ensure proper service and meet the requirements of banquet functions.
• Directs and ensures the proper handling, usage, and storage of all banquet equipment and supplies.
• Greets and maintains communication with the customer contact regarding payment.
Qualifications:
• Previous banquet lead or supervisory experience. Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly + gratuities
