Job Summary

As a Kitchen Shift Lead at our property, you will ensure high quality food preparation and service, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support the kitchen team through planning, ordering, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of high quality food items according to standardized recipes or instructions in an efficient manner to meet production and service schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery at times, using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive and tasty. Taste all food items prepared.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing or discarding excess food properly per safe food handling procedures.
  • Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; all food and supply items are stored per standards.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
  • Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required.
  • Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following correct procedures at all times.
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
  • Active Food Handler’s certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Willingness to work a variety of day, night and weekend shifts.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Desire to exceed expectations.
  • Energetic personality.
Compensation

Compensation: $22.00 - $21.00
