Description

The Host or Hostess is the friendly face that welcomes guests to our establishment, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. Responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining the lobby area, they play a vital role in orchestrating the flow of guests and optimizing their satisfaction. With their warm demeanor and excellent customer service skills, Hosts/Hostesses create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning.

Furthermore, they have the opportunity to earn tips through their direct interaction with guests, enhancing their overall compensation.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a warm greeting and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and communicate wait times effectively.
  • Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering table availability and server rotations.
  • Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
  • Handle phone calls and assist with inquiries and reservation requests.
  • Assist servers and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor guest flow to maximize seating efficiency and minimize wait times.
  • Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Maximize tip potential by delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Enthusiasm for providing outstanding service and creating positive guest experiences.
