Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team at Lake Belle RV Resort. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the resort’s administrative functions, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the owners. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and Operations
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the resort.
    • Assist in creating and improving resort operating procedures.
    • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for supplies and services.
    • Assist the owners in planning and executing resort events and activities.
    • Ensure compliance with all resort policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the resort to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
    • Collaborate with owners and staff to address any facility issues.
  • Guest Services
    • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information and answering questions.
    • Handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
    • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional manner.
    • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through excellent customer service.
    • Anticipate guest needs and personalize their experience to ensure a memorable stay.
  • Monitor and adhere to an office budget.
  • Handle petty cash and make periodic bank deposits.
  • Staff Coordination
    • Supervise resort staff and provide guidance as needed.
    • Schedule and coordinate staff shifts and duties.
    • Conduct training sessions for new employees on resort procedures and customer service.
    • Foster a positive team environment and promote staff development.
  • Hospitality and Guest Experience
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and positive reviews.
    • Gather and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with local attractions and services to provide guests with comprehensive information and recommendations.
    • Implement and uphold the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in modern cloud-based software (e.g., apps and online reservation systems).
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial principles.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • High school diploma: additional qualifications in Office Administration or Hospitality Management are a plus.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in guest services, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Primarily indoor with some outdoor duties around the resort.
  • Primarily standing, walking, or driving the resort. Limited sitting during a shift.
  • Interaction with guests, staff, and vendors on a regular basis.
  • We are a clean air resort – There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed on property.
  • Background checks and drug tests are mandatory for employment.
