Key Responsibilities- Support the daily oversight of Front Office, Housekeeping, and other operational areas as assigned.
- Foster a service-focused, inclusive culture that reflects Hyatt’s purpose of caring for people so they can be their best.
- Maintain operational excellence by monitoring staffing, service delivery, and departmental performance.
- Partner with department leaders to coach, support, and develop colleagues.
- Assist with guest recovery, problem resolution, and service follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, hotel policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in scheduling, payroll review, inventory controls, and reporting.
- Support all shift procedures and act as Manager-on-Duty as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain efficient, guest-ready operations.
This position is budgeted for compensation between $68,000 - $74,000 annually
Qualifications- Minimum 1-2 years of hotel operations leadership experience preferred.
- Experience working within a unionized NYC hotel environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel operational workflows; familiarity with IWA-covered departments a plus.
- Warm, people-first leadership style aligned with Hyatt values.
- Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and coaching skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly guest-centric environment.
- Proficiency with hotel PMS systems (Opera/Opera Cloud systems experience a plus).
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
