What are your main responsibilities as a Front Office, Manager
  • Ensure the Front Office operates successfully and efficiently in accordance with Hyatt International Brand Standards.
  • Ensure to maintain an updated awareness of hotel product knowledge, current promotion, policy changes and appropriate internal communication.
  • Establish rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on Front Office services.
  • Assist with the preparation and regular update of the Rooms Departmental Budget, in close cooperation with the Director of Rooms ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
  • Exercise efficient Payroll Management/Resource allocation through the establishment of a flexible workforce throughout the department. This will be based on the principles of a flexible employee base (Full Time & Part Time employees), flexible rostering, multi-skilling and multi-tasking.
  • Delegate appropriately, duties and responsibilities to equip and resource employees, nurturing and developing them whilst ensuring standards of operation and safety are maintained.
Qualifications
  • Good computer skills (Knowledge of Opera is desirable)
  • Experience in a managerial position
  • Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Japanese and English skills are necessary.
