🏠 Full‑Time Houseman/Butler – UHNW Private Household (NYC)
LocationManhattan, NYC (with local travel to nearby properties)
ScheduleFull‑time, flexible (evenings/weekends/holidays as needed)

About the RoleA high‑profile UHNW family in Downtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced, polished, and service‑oriented Houseman/Butler to join their private household team. This role requires someone who is proactive, discreet, and able to shift seamlessly across service, operations, and light facilities support. A background in 5‑star hospitality or private estate service is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities Household Operations & Support- Oversee and collaborate with housekeeping to ensure the home is spotless and guest‑ready
- Step in with light cleaning as needed
- Monitor household inventory; restock and report low supplies
- Perform light handyman tasks (changing bulbs, minor repairs, basic troubleshooting, air filters, etc.)
- Support upkeep of lighting, HVAC, AV, and smart‑home technology in coordination with vendors and the property manager
- Maintain vehicles (cleaning, fueling, retrieving from garage)
- Assist with holiday décor, seasonal setup, and event preparation
- Deliver consistent 5‑star service with exceptional discretion and professionalism
- Support private events and guest service with a calm, polished presence
- Anticipate needs of the principals and ensure seamless daily household flow
- Experience in private service or luxury hospitality (hotels, fine dining, yachting, estates)
- Tech‑savvy with comfort using smart home systems, AV, and security systems
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; background check and references required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and remain active throughout the day
- Professional, poised, and discreet
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable wearing many hats
- Team‑oriented with a “no task too small” philosophy
- Strong communication skills and a calm problem‑solving approach
