This is a full-time, on-site role for a Front Desk Receptionist at Kith Ivy, located in New York, NY. The Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include managing front desk tasks such as welcoming members and guests, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining office supplies.
The role also requires maintaining an organized reception area and supporting administrative and clerical functions as needed.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to create a welcoming, discreet, and luxury-standard experience for members, guests, and VIP clientele.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties, including handling daily front desk responsibilities, maintaining schedules, and managing inquiries efficiently.
- High level of tech‑savviness, with the ability to quickly navigate digital systems and internal workflows.
- Excellent phone etiquette with a professional and courteous approach to handling telephone communication.
- Experience with booking and membership management software, especially Book4
Time and People Vine, or comparable scheduling tools. - Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to support spa, padel, restaurant, retail, and front‑office departments as needed.
- Previous experience in hospitality, private clubs, luxury retail, wellness, or fine dining is highly valued.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional relevant certifications or training is preferred.
- Prior roles involving direct interaction with high‑profile, VIP, or confidential clientele, such as private members clubs, luxury hotels, or executive‑level workplaces.
- Experience managing confidential information in compliance with privacy standards.
- Multilingual candidates, especially in languages commonly used by international clientele.
