Position SummaryThe historic Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a full‑time Front Office Manager to join their guest services team. This 500‑room property is located in Manhattan’s Koreatown, a five‑minute walk from the Empire State Building, Macy’s Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, and Penn Station.
This position will be one of multiple front office managers and report to the director of front office operations. The manager will oversee a union team of 13 guest service agents and 7 bell people, typically 3‑8 team members per shift.
Responsibilities- Manage all front office operations, including guest service and registration (check‑in/check‑out), room inventory, product quality, cost control, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy implementation, and meeting facilitation.
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
- Assess service and satisfaction trends, address issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton standards.
- Meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Initiate and implement upselling techniques to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Keep team members current on hotel products, services, facilities, and local area events.
- Complete audit procedures as needed.
- Recruit, interview and train team members.
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in front office or housekeeping, with a Local 6 union team.
- Experience with luxury or lifestyle hotel brands is an asset.
Candidates should be available to work AM, PM, and overnight shifts as needed, including any day of the week, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Range$70,000 – $75,000, final offer based on experience.
