NARO is looking for experienced and dedicated Hosts (with AM and PM availabilities) to join ourteam. As a Host at NARO, you will work in conjunction with the NARO team in setting a strong foundation with our reservation system and managing existing reservations.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual, with a strong work ethic, and an endless curiosity to learn and grow with our restaurant.

This position reports to the NARO Front-of-House Managers. For this position, we are offering $18-$21 an hour, depending on experience.

• Be available to answer phone calls during service hours.
• Greeting guests with sincerity and seating guests with graciousness.
• Providing warm hospitality to guests as they wait for their tables.
• Maintaining cleanliness in all guest-facing areas of the reception hallways, host stand, washrooms, and coat check.
• Assisting guests with checking coats, bags, umbrellas, etc
• Communicating table needs to ensure a smooth service and that all reservations are seated in a timely manner.
• Having an intimate knowledge of all allergens in our food and beverage offerings, and working with the kitchen as a liaison for our guests to accommodate their dietary needs whenever possible.
• Maintain detailed notes for our guests.
• Building rapport with guests, greeting guests, marking guest preferences, and ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of all those that dine with us.
• Communicating with guests regarding upcoming reservations and answering any inquiries regarding NARO.

• Broad and flexible availability to work daytime and evenings
• At least 1 year of fine dining service experience (preferably in a host or maitre d’ role)
• Must be able to demonstrate an extensive depth of organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and / or Google Workplace
• Previous experience with Resy is beneficial, but not required
• Knowledge and / or experience with Korean food & beverage is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs if necessary
