Bell AttendantOverview:
As a Bell Attendant, your main responsibility is to provide excellent service to hotel guests. This includes assisting with the check-in and check-out processes, driving the hotel vehicle for scheduled runs and as needed, and ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
- Must have a driver's license
- Smile, be attentive, go above and beyond and be a great team player
- Be present at door and outside for car arrivals
- Escort incoming hotel guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Provide information about the hotel's services and facilities, as well as local attractions and entertainment options.
- Help guests with their luggage and packages, either to their room
- Deliver messages and run errands, both on and off hotel property.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment at all times.
- Safely drive company or guest vehicles to assist guests.
- Pick up and deliver laundry and valet items if necessary
- Maintain a record of all deliveries and guests' requests.
- Manage short-term baggage storage for guests.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner at all times.
- Resolve issues brought by attention of the guest.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Education/Experience
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent. College degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in a customer service position is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old with an acceptable driving record as required by the company's insurance carrier.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Willingness to work long hours when necessary and work days, nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly (such as when handling luggage carts or moving objects).
- Clear communication skills to effectively convey information and ideas. Ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Must be able to speak English fluently and carry on a conversation with guests.
