We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Hinterland Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals. Sitting on the banks of the Nerang River, the Hinterland Hotel has been a local icon for years, serving locals and visitors who pass through Nerang.

This isn’t just a pub, it’s a true all‑rounder with a bistro, bar, gaming, functions, and motel accommodation. Locals, travellers, and everyone in between drop in, which means no two days are the same.

As Assistant Manager, you’ll work side by side with the Venue Manager, making sure the crew is firing, the customers are happy, and every shift runs smoothly.

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG and RMLV as per state requirements
