This role is the hygiene backbone of the kitchen — keeping dishes, pots, pans, and work areas spotless so culinary teams can perform at their best.

The position offers a steady Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flik values people who share their commitment to quality and provides hands-on training to help associates grow. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory, making this an excellent entry point for someone looking to build a career in food service operations.

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or via conveyor dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays using assigned procedures to ensure complete sanitation.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths.
• Monitor and maintain chemical levels and water temperatures per safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, wash worktables, and clean refrigerators and food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash, steam-clean garbage cans, and transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.

The pay range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Associates enjoy complimentary meals during their shift, and uniforms with laundering service are available at select locations. An internal employee referral bonus is also available.
