Housekeeping Supervisor

An exclusive luxury members club in New York City is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure every area of the property consistently reflects exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.

This is a leadership role within a high-end hospitality environment that blends luxury hospitality, wellness, dining, fitness, and member experiences. The ideal candidate is a polished, hands-on leader who can effectively supervise housekeeping staff, uphold luxury standards, coordinate with multiple departments, and create an exceptional member experience through operational excellence.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping attendants across multiple shifts and operational areas.
• Create and manage schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Lead daily shift briefings to communicate priorities, special events, VIP arrivals, inspection results, and operational updates.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, training, and performance management.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new housekeeping staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence.

• Conduct comprehensive inspections throughout the property to ensure luxury-level cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.

• Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and housekeeping equipment.
• Monitor usage patterns and recommend efficiencies while maintaining luxury standards.
• Ensure housekeeping carts, storage rooms, closets, and back-of-house areas remain organized and fully stocked.
• Coordinate with vendors and management to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

• Partner closely with Spa, Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Facilities, and Events teams to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Coordinate housekeeping support for special events, VIP guests, and high-traffic periods.
• Communicate maintenance concerns and facility issues proactively to appropriate departments.
• Ensure housekeeping operations enhance the member experience without disrupting the club environment.

• 2–4 years of housekeeping experience within a:
• • Luxury hotel
  • Upscale spa
  • Private club
  • Luxury residential property
  • Comparable hospitality environment

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory, lead, or team coordination experience.
• Experience managing schedules, shift coverage, staff performance, and operational accountability.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop team members.

• Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships across departments and leadership levels.
• Experience providing coaching, feedback, conflict resolution, and team development.
• Comfortable communicating with managers, facilities teams, vendors, and staff members.
