AREA MANAGER – LUXURY HEALTH CLUB & AMENITY OPERATIONS

LIVunLtd is a leading luxury lifestyle, health club, and amenity management company serving premier residential properties throughout the New York City area. We create and manage environments where exceptional service, wellness, hospitality, and operational excellence come together to deliver an elevated lifestyle experience for residents and guests.

We are seeking a dynamic, polished, and experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of luxury residential health clubs, pools, and amenity spaces.

The Area Manager is a key leader responsible for supporting and developing each property’s Lifestyle Manager
, ensuring onsite teams consistently deliver exceptional hospitality while maintaining facilities to the highest standards. This role requires a strong leader who understands luxury service, enjoys developing people, and can effectively manage multiple properties and priorities.

THE ROLE

As an Area Manager, you will connect LIVunLtd’s corporate leadership with onsite operations. You will provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to Lifestyle Managers while ensuring that each property delivers a consistent, elevated resident experience.

You will work closely with Lifestyle Managers, Front Desk Associates, Porters, Lifeguards, Property Managers, Resident Managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, safety, impeccable facility standards, and exceptional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, coach, and support onsite Lifestyle Managers in developing their teams and achieving operational and service excellence.
  • Ensure Front Desk Associates, Porters, Lifeguards, and other onsite staff consistently deliver a polished, professional resident experience.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure amenity spaces are showroom‑ready, safe, impeccably maintained, and operating to LIVunLtd standards
    .
  • Oversee pool operations and ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipate staffing, seasonal, client, and operational needs and proactively develop solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, team performance, operational efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions with Lifestyle Managers and maintain strong relationships with property and client leadership.
  • Ensure corporate initiatives and directives are effectively communicated and executed onsite.
  • Maintain a strong safety‑first culture across all assigned properties.
  • Monitor operational budgets and contractual scope of work.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Vice President of Operations.
  • Provide additional operational support to LIVunLtd properties as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in health club, pool, hospitality, residential amenity, or related operations management
    .
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing managers and frontline teams.
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality, customer service, facility operations, and operational excellence.
  • Experience managing multiple locations or properties.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience hiring, training, and developing Front Desk Associates, Porters, Lifeguards, and management‑level employees.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, property management, residents, guests, and employees.
