Do you love the energy of a beautifully run event and take pride in leading a team that makes it happen? Radisson Hotel Corning is looking for a Lead Banquet Server to guide our banquet team through weddings, corporate events, and special functions — training servers, keeping every detail on point, and making sure every guest leaves impressed.
Schedule:
Full-time
A day in this role might include:
- Leading and motivating the banquet team to deliver polished, high-quality service
- Confirming event spaces are set up perfectly — table settings, decor, linens, glassware, and more
- Welcoming guests, ensuring they're comfortable, and handling special requests with ease
- Overseeing the full serving process from setup through cleanup
- Training and mentoring servers, and jumping in to resolve issues on the fly
- Coordinating with the Banquet Manager and other departments — front desk, kitchen, sales — to keep events running smoothly
- Setting up and operating AV/IT equipment for events
- Accurately entering charges into Micros
