We are seeking a skilled Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to join on a contract basis. This role will focus on analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting Workday Adaptive Planning – Workforce Planning solutions. You will partner with global HR Technology teams, HR Business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to deliver best-in-class HR technology solutions that align with organizational workforce planning strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, configure, and test Workday Adaptive Planning solutions to align with workforce planning policies.
- Translate business needs into system requirements, conduct gap analysis, and recommend process improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for workforce planning, including Headcount & Cost Planning, Resource & Capacity Planning, and Strategic Workforce Planning.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR programs using Workday capabilities.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment of Compensation and Workforce Planning with business goals.
- Support solution implementation, coordinate testing, and optimize system functionality.
- Provide production support for Adaptive Planning, troubleshooting issues with configurations, integrations, and data.
- Maintain documentation such as user guides, process flows, project plans, and training materials.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing insights on workforce planning processes and tools.
- 5+ years of HR technology experience, with at least 3 years in Workday Adaptive Planning configuration and management
. - Strong knowledge of HR processes, especially in Strategic Workforce Planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently across time zones in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
, plus tools like JIRA. - Experience supporting workforce changes including acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures.
- Strong documentation skills, including creating process flows, test plans, and training materials.
