ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape HR programs and processes and make a substantial impact on our organization's culture and operational success. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with practical HR expertise, particularly in employee relations and organizational design, within a technologically driven environment.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    Partner with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization’s objectives. Focus on organizational design, HR initiatives, company policies, and employee relations.
  • Relationship Management:
    Build strong relationships with internal customers across the organization, focusing on enhancing the employee experience and ensuring HR processes align with business needs.
  • HR Program Implementation:
    Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement effective processes, procedures, and programs that enhance organizational efficiency and support business goals.
  • Support the Organization:
    Act as the primary HR point of contact for the specific department, providing day-to-day support, guidance on HR initiatives, and promoting employee engagement.
  • Culture Enhancement:
    Partner with various departments to bolster the company’s culture, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive work environment that aligns with corporate values.
  • Employee Relations:
    Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring they are handled legally and in line with company policies. Provide guidance and support to management and staff in resolving conflicts and improving workplace relations.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in Human Resources, with substantial experience in employee relations and supporting various teams or matrixed organizations.
  • Experience using HRIS systems like Workday. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing compensation and annual review cycles within an HR framework preferred
  • HRCI or SHRM certification is strongly preferred.

    Exceptional attention to detail required for creating and maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and documents.
Work Environment
  • This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week.
