Overview

Hello Fresh is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst who will shape compensation strategies that attract the right talent and enable business success. Key responsibilities include delivering quantitative and qualitative analytics, developing pay structures, formulating recommendations, conducting internal pay equity reviews, and collaborating with HR and business leaders on compensation strategies that support our global pay philosophy, ensure competitiveness and legal compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Program Administration:
    Develop, administer, and ensure compliance of compensation programs for executive, salaried, and hourly employees across North America corporate and distribution center employees. Partner with the People Core Services team on administration of compensation changes, equity program, annual merit/promotion cycles, and variable compensation programs.
  • Market Analysis:
    Conduct market pricing using external surveys and internal data to benchmark against competitors and inform pay recommendations. Research and identify market trends to inform program enhancements.
  • Consultation:
    Advise HR Business Partners, managers, and leaders on compensation matters such as new hire offers, promotions, and policy interpretation. Foster strong partnerships with business leaders, HR business partners, and peers for successful evaluation, administration, and execution of compensation programs. Act as first point of contact on general compensation requests from HRBP and recruiters. Collaborate with HR and Total Rewards teams to make process improvements and policy changes.
  • Job Architecture:
    Evaluate job architecture for continued alignment to business and marketplace. Classify jobs and assist in creating or updating job family descriptions and job levelling framework.
  • Internal Equity:
    Perform internal pay equity and fairness analyses to ensure consistency across the organization. Analyze compensation programs for effectiveness, cost impact, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    Generate reports, conduct trend analysis, and provide data-driven recommendations to support compensation decisions. Collaborate with the team to provide systems expertise and support to Hello Fresh key stakeholders with Workday. Perform error handling and diagnose Workday data issues, including fixing employee records. Analyze needs and make recommendations for system and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance.
  • Experience:

    3+ years of experience in compensation, with experience in a large multinational organization and working with various employee types (salaried, hourly, etc.).
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for complex modeling, logic statements, and lookups.
  • Familiarity with HR software, compensation management tools – Workday Advanced Compensation experience is an asset.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    strong quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities.
  • Soft Skills:

    excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
