Location: New York

Our client, a well-established and technology-driven investment firm, is hiring a Compensation Professional to join their growing HR team. This newly created role will play a key part in developing compensation strategies across a range of domestic and international businesses. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with data, and wants to contribute to meaningful, organization-wide initiatives.

Please note this position has the ability to work out of the Manhattan office or Stamford office, at the candidate's discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to support compensation decisions.
  • Assist in the design and modeling of variable and deferred compensation programs.
  • Maintain and analyze internal compensation data, and ensure alignment with market trends.
  • Support annual compensation planning processes and prepare related reports.
  • Act as a compensation resource for international HR teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on mobility and cross-border compensation strategies.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based models and tools for reporting and analysis.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compensation or HR analytics role.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with modeling and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communicator, able to work with global teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience working with international compensation practices or deferred comp is a plus.
