The Opportunity at AltanaThe Talent team is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to help us scale our team thoughtfully and efficiently. In this role, you'll be the engine behind our hiring process, creating seamless experiences for candidates, supporting recruiters and hiring managers, and ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision. You'll play a critical role in shaping how candidates experience Altana from their first interaction through their final interview.
You'll partner closely with our Talent team and hiring managers across the company to keep our hiring process running smoothly and authentically. This is an opportunity to build recruiting operations and directly impact how we attract and hire exceptional talent, with potential to grow into a full-time role.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple teams, time zones, and stakeholders, managing complex calendars and proactively resolving scheduling conflicts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, delivering a professional, responsive, and welcoming experience at every touchpoint
- Ensure in-person, preparing interview rooms, coordinating interviewer schedules, and supporting all on-site logistics
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to manage candidate pipelines and track progress throughout the hiring process
- Maintain our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) with accurate, up-to-date information and ensure data integrity across all open roles
- Build and refine recruiting coordination workflows, templates, process improvements, and best practices that scale as the team grows
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, executive assistance, operations, or a similar high-volume, detail-intensive role
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, warm, and clear communication style
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset - you anticipate challenges, think critically, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Docs) and virtual meeting tools (Google Meet)
- A genuine passion for creating excellent candidate experiences and supporting the people who build great teams
- Experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus (Greenhouse preferred)
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup or technology company is a plus
This is a contract position based in our Williamsburg office with hybrid work flexibility.
US Salary Range and Benefits$85,000 - $115,000 USD
The compensation range, to the extent specified for this role, is a good faith statement of the minimum and maximum levels of compensation for the position. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, business considerations, and contract duration. Should this contract position convert to full-time employment, the role would be eligible for Altana's comprehensive benefits package.
