• Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Strong background in employee relations and performance management.
• Experience ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, preferably in New York.
• Experience implementing HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to connect and build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and industry standards.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong cultural understanding and ability to engage and collaborate with employees of all backgrounds.
• Initiative and self-motivation to drive HR programs and process improvements independently.
