Talent Manager
Location: New York
Our client, a leading global investment firm, is seeking a highly analytical, resourceful, and detail-driven Recruitment Sourcer to join their Human Resources team. This role blends candidate research, proactive outreach, and top-of-funnel sourcing with strategic data organization to strengthen the firm’s recruiting engine.
The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, research, recruiting operations, or another analytical, information-heavy role. This is a fast-paced, intellectually demanding position suited for someone who is sharp, proactive, structured, and energized by finding high-caliber talent and building order within a complex database. You will play an essential role in identifying candidates, activating pipelines, and ensuring the firm’s recruiting data is clean, searchable, and strategically valuable.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain top-of-funnel pipelines by identifying, researching, and sourcing high-quality candidates across multiple platforms.
- Conduct targeted outreach using personalized messaging to engage and activate passive candidates.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and prioritize sourcing efforts.
- Audit, update, and enhance candidate information within the firm’s recruiting database to ensure accuracy, completeness, and strategic usability.
- Apply structured tagging, categorization, and taxonomy to improve searchability and align with firm-wide sourcing strategy.
- Analyze pipeline trends, talent market insights, and sourcing metrics; surface actionable recommendations for the recruiting team.
- Generate reports and snapshot analyses for hiring managers to highlight patterns, opportunities, and gaps.
- Proactively flag high-potential candidates and recommend next steps or activation strategies.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support targeted sourcing campaigns.
- Collaborate with recruiters to refine messaging, improve workflows, and elevate the candidate experience.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, research, recruiting operations, data management, or an analytical/organizational role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach and engage passive talent.
- Exceptional accuracy, organization, and pattern recognition — able to quickly spot inconsistencies and identify meaningful data.
- Proven ability to work through large datasets with speed, precision, and strategic intent.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort in reporting, data interpretation, and trend analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ATS/CRM systems strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independent execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Discreet, professional, and able to handle sensitive candidate and firm information.
Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm; fully in-office
Salary$80–150K base (DOE) + discretionary bonus + exceptional benefits
