Talent Manager, HR Manager
Location: New York
Head of Compensation – Global Organization
New York, NY | Onsite 4 days per week (1 day remote)
$240,000 – $280,000 base + bonus
Oakleaf Partnership is supporting a leading, publicly traded global organization in appointing a Head of Compensation
. This is a rare opportunity to build a compensation function from the ground up within a fast-moving, high-growth environment that blends the scale of an enterprise with the agility of a start-up.

You will have direct influence at the highest levels of the HR function, strong sponsorship, and the ability to drive enterprise-wide impact.

Architect compensation frameworks for a global workforce
Lead a full compensation modernization program with executive backing
Influence systems, data, governance, and decision-making across multiple business units
Partner closely with HR, Finance, and a shared-services model that supports HRIS and payroll
Shape comp strategy for both traditional corporate roles and a highly complex 1099 broker population

Build and implement job architecture, job leveling, and compensation frameworks
Lead a large-scale data clean-up and title rationalization initiative
Develop market-aligned compensation structures for a diverse workforce
Establish and manage market survey participation and benchmarking strategy
Partner with senior HR leadership on annual compensation cycle design
Design and model compensation structures for complex 1099 broker teams
Provide advanced compensation modeling (Excel) and analytics support
Work with Oracle HCM data structures for governance and reporting
Support process optimization, compensation operations, and administrative coordination
Compensation leadership experience within:
Commercial Real Estate
Professional Services
Financial Services
Or other environments with mature HR/Comp design
Ability to thrive in environments with low structure and high ambiguity
Proven success designing compensation programs from scratch
Strong analytical capability and stakeholder influence
Experience working with 1099 or non-standard pay structures is highly desirable
