Job Overview
We’re seeking a Payroll Assistant to support the processing, maintenance, and accuracy of employee payroll records. You’ll work with HR, finance, and operations teams to ensure wages, deductions, and adjustments are handled correctly and delivered on time.
Responsibilities- Process employee timesheets, work hours, and attendance data.
- Assist with payroll calculations, adjustments, and compliance checks.
- Review payroll entries for errors, discrepancies, and missing information.
- Maintain payroll records, documentation, and employee files.
- Support payroll reporting for audits, finance teams, and management.
- Respond to employee payroll-related questions professionally.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with payroll systems/software.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic payroll principles (wages, deductions, taxes).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Prior admin or HR support experience is a plus.
Hourly or salary pay depending on employer. Overtime and bonus opportunities may be available. Benefits may include paid time off and health coverage.
Credit Score RequirementDue to handling wage-related information and financial data, a standard credit score and background check is required before interview scheduling.
