Your Mission & Impact

As a People Operations Specialist you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day functions of the People (HR) team, contributing to a positive employee experience and fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and operational excellence. This position assists with the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs, and supports key areas such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, employee recordkeeping, HR systems management, and internal communications.

About You

This is a hands‑on, mid‑level role for someone who loves building structure, improving processes, and partnering with managers to create clarity and momentum. You’ll work closely with our VP of People across People Ops, manager support, performance, hiring, and culture.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with managers to support team health, performance conversations, and role clarity
  • Own core People Ops processes in Rippling (onboarding, offboarding, audits, job changes)
  • Maintain People systems + data integrity across Rippling, Ashby, Culture Amp, and Notion
  • Support performance cycles, engagement surveys, calibration prep, and feedback loops
  • Help run hiring processes end‑to‑end with managers (JD, scorecards, scheduling, comms)
  • Improve onboarding and employee experience programs as we grow
  • Support People & Finance alignment across headcount, compensation, and planning
What Makes You a Fit
  • 4–7 years of People Ops or HRBP experience in high‑growth startups
  • Strong operational instincts — organized, crisp, dependable
  • Experience with People systems (Rippling, Ashby, Culture Amp) or quick to learn
  • Confidence supporting managers through feedback, alignment, and performance conversations
  • Thrive in ambiguity; create structure where none exists
  • Exceptional communication skills and judgment
  • Start up Experience Preferred
Life @ A.Team
  • A supportive team that has your back: Work with empathetic, entrepreneurial co‑workers who are all deeply motivated by our mission to change the future of work
  • Extensive resources and tools to help you succeed and achieve your own personal goals
  • Unlimited time off: Take the time you need to relax and recover so that you can bring your A game every day
