We are seeking an experienced Placement Coordinator who will play a vital role in connecting Bridge to Tech participants with meaningful work‑based learning and employment opportunities in the technology sector. This position cultivates relationships with employers, identifies aligned job opportunities, coordinates internship placements and prepares participants to transition successfully from training to paid work. The coordinator collaborates closely with the training team and career advisors to ensure each participant receives comprehensive support and meets program outcomes.

- Develop and maintain relationships with tech employers, staffing firms, and internship host sites.
- Source paid and unpaid internship opportunities aligned with participants’ training and career goals.
- Match graduates to entry‑level tech roles (IT Support, Helpdesk, QA, digital operations, data roles, etc.).
- Prepare candidates for interviews and hiring processes; coordinate job readiness activities.
- Track all employer engagement, internships, job placements, and retention milestones.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the case management system.
Activities are subject to change / be added to meet business needs with management approval.
Our Must Haves- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 3+ years in employer engagement, recruiting, staffing, or workforce development.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with employers and industry stakeholders.
- Understanding of tech pathways and entry‑level tech roles strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with diverse adult learners and jobseekers.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
- Occasional travel throughout the city/region to partner training sites, community organizations, or employer offices may be necessary.
- Flexibility in schedule may be required for employer meetings, recruitment events, or evening/weekend hiring activities.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, outcomes‑driven environment with regular deadlines tied to placements and partner engagement.
