Our client, a leading international asset manager, is seeking a Compensation Associate to join our Human Capital team. This role offers the opportunity to work across all aspects of the firm’s compensation programs, supporting the design, analysis, and administration of pay practices for a global asset management organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a collaborative mindset and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
The position is hybrid in NYC and is flexible on title depending on years of experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of annual compensation processes, including salary reviews, incentive planning, and equity award administration.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and senior management to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and maintain compensation reports, analytics, and dashboards for leadership and governance purposes.
- Contribute to the design and ongoing management of compensation structures, job leveling, and internal pay frameworks.
- Assist with compensation-related disclosures, committee materials, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality across systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of compensation or HR analytics experience; prior exposure to asset management, investment banking, or financial services preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience working with compensation survey data (e.g., McLagan, Mercer, Radford) a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
