The Opportunity: As the Talent Lead at Caraway, you will own the full talent lifecycle - including end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and scaling our employer brand. You will partner with senior leadership to anticipate hiring needs, build a scalable pipeline for high-growth, drive innovative sourcing strategies, and create an exceptional candidate and internal Crew experience.

You bring a blend of hands-on execution and big-picture thinking, with a track record of building scalable talent functions in consumer brands. You’ll be comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels. You have a passion for attracting top-tier talent in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and own the talent acquisition strategy aligned with Caraway’s business goals, including workforce planning, DEI objectives, employer branding, and candidate experience.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs, define role requirements, and influence workforce planning across functions (GTM, Marketing, Design, Operations, Finance, Product & Engineering).
  • Build and nurture a proactive talent pipeline, sharing high potential candidates and hires ahead of demand.
  • Develop & manage a dynamic talent strategy that integrates full-time, contract and offshore talent.
  • Support broader People Team initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
  • Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates, leveraging social media, communities, partnerships, and industry events.
  • Own the full recruitment funnel from go-live to offer, optimizing time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience metrics.
  • Standardize and train hiring managers on interview best practices, incorporating structured evaluations and DEI principles.

  • Elevate Caraway as an employer of choice by shaping a compelling employer brand in collaboration with Marketing and Communications.
  • Champion an inclusive, equitable candidate experience from first touch to onboarding, ensuring accessibility and fairness.
