A leading, long-standing food distribution company in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day people operations and guide a growing HR team. This is a full-time, on-site position within a 150-employee organization passionate about food, agriculture, and cultivating talent. This is an on-site role in the Bronx with a salary range of $80,000-$95,000.

Qualifications:

• Proven HR leadership experience, preferably in food distribution, manufacturing, or similar industries
• Strong track record in recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions
• Solid understanding of payroll, labor law requirements, and employee relations best practices
• Empathetic leadership style with a focus on mentoring and developing staff
• Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of four HR professionals, with direct supervision of 2–3 team members
• Drive full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on high-volume hiring for warehouse and sales roles
• Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, labor compliance, and employee relations
• Create and implement training programs that promote professional growth and retention
• Collaborate with senior leadership to strengthen company culture and boost engagement
• Contribute to workforce planning and support organizational growth strategies
