Recruiting Manager at Green Key ResourcesNon-profit organization based in Midtown, Manhattan seeks a temporary Benefits Manager for a 6-month contract. Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Benefits Manager, as well as excellent communication skills.
Hybrid schedule: 1 day per week in the office
Hours:
9am - 6pm
Pay rate: $50-55/hr
Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing issues and inquiries regarding benefits, enrollments, changes, and compliance matters with a focus on providing exceptional service and problem resolution.
- Manage the organization, processing, and maintenance of eligibility and termination files for various benefit programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless transitions for all stakeholders.
- Create clear and concise communications regarding plan administration for employee understanding.
- Oversee leave of absence accommodation requests and collaborate with third party vendor.
- Liaise with benefits and service providers.
- Enroll new employees in essential benefits and provide new hires with explanation of benefits.
- Conduct benefits orientations and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review payroll deductions and any other benefits documentation for accuracy.
- Keep employee files up to date and advise on eligibility.
- Report on various benefits options and cost analysis to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and human resources.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service orientation and a proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Prior experience writing employee benefit communications, conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
