Salary: $40–$60/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager in New York, NY (Hybrid) to lead an HRIS implementation and support key HR functions including benefits administration and compliance. You’ll optimize HR workflows, manage platforms like Paychex, and ensure alignment with company policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Implementation & Automation:
    Lead the setup and launch of a new HRIS, ensuring accurate data migration, system configuration, and streamlined workflow automation.
  • Benefits & Compliance Administration:
    Oversee day‑to‑day benefits through Paychex and maintain compliance with labor regulations.
  • Employee Lifecycle Support:
    Manage onboarding, offboarding, and HR policy administration while supporting ongoing HR operations.
  • Employee Relations:
    Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Reporting & Project Support:
    Maintain HR records, generate reports, and support cross‑functional HR projects and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience:

    5‑8 years of progressive HR experience, including system implementation, benefits administration, and HR operations.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in HR systems such as Bamboo

    HR and Paychex strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    Strong project management and communication skills with keen attention to detail, while remaining adaptable, collaborative, and discreet with confidential information.
