This is a full‑time, on‑site position for a Hitrust Specialist located in New York, NY. The Hitrust Specialist will oversee Hitrust compliance initiatives, ensuring that all policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, documenting processes, maintaining compliance‑related documentation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing certification processes, and implementing improvement strategies. The role heavily involves coordinating with teams to support the organization’s overall compliance goals.

• Strong understanding of Hitrust requirements, risk assessments, and compliance frameworks
• Experience in regulatory standards, policy documentation, and implementing governance procedures
• Proficiency in coordinating certification processes and collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as Hitrust Practitioner, CISSP, or CISA are highly preferred
• Prior experience within the cybersecurity, compliance, or auditing sectors is a plus
