Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Payroll functions. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR processes, employee record management, onboarding and offboarding support, and coordination of HR programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Support recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems and union database/portal.
  • Verify employee timesheets for compliance with policies and payroll deadlines.
  • Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Support open enrollment and other annual HR processes.
  • Process employment changes in coordination with payroll.
  • Respond to routine employee HR questions and elevate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Run, validate, audit, and prepare routine HR and payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other HR/Payroll duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of HR, administrative, or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
