Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Payroll functions. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR processes, employee record management, onboarding and offboarding support, and coordination of HR programs.
Responsibilities:- Support recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems and union database/portal.
- Verify employee timesheets for compliance with policies and payroll deadlines.
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Support open enrollment and other annual HR processes.
- Process employment changes in coordination with payroll.
- Respond to routine employee HR questions and elevate complex issues as appropriate.
- Run, validate, audit, and prepare routine HR and payroll reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Perform other HR/Payroll duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of HR, administrative, or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
