Training Coordinator - Coverage

This is a Temporary leave replacement and can be ended at any time. The Training Coordinator will provide operational support to the Stomy Brook Medicine Training and Development Learning Center department.

• Migrating existing learning content from Health Stream into Wolfie One.
• Reviewing migrated courses for accuracy and functionality.
• Providing LMS administrative support, including data entry, user support, registration management, and session scheduling.
• Assisting with testing, validation, and implementation activities during the transition period.
• Supporting end users and departments as Wolfie One approaches go-live.

• Bachelor's degree least 1 year of experience in general human resources or personnel administration, including experience with HR systems, employee records, personnel processes, training administration, or related functions or, in lieu of a Bachelor's, an Associate's degree with at least 3 years of experience in general human resources or personnel administration, including experience with HR systems, employee records, personnel processes, training administration, or related functions.
• Proficiency in PC applications;
  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with e-learning software (such as Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, etc.)
• A foundational understanding of how to structure educational content, with a willingness to be trained on specific e-learning tools like Articulate or Camtasia
• Must be service-oriented and a strong team player with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically to diverse groups

• Bachelor degree in a related field such as Instructional Technology, Education, or Human Resources
• Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or cloud-based HR transitions (e.g., Oracle, Workday, or Health Stream)
• Experience in training, teaching, or professional presentations within a professional setting
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment or coordinating large-scale orientation programs

• Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Medicine's Employee Health Services*
• Complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three (3) professional references.
• Successfully complete a 4 panel drug screen*
• Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre employment screenings.
• Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).

Failure to comply with any of the above requirements could result in a delayed start date and/or revocation of the employment offer.
