* Digital We’re partnering with a leading media brand to appoint a Director, HR Business Partner supporting several high-profile Technology and Product teams across the organization. This is a visible leadership opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys partnering with senior leaders, leading a high-performing team, and balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on business partnering.

Supporting a large population of professionals, you’ll help shape talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance while serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Partner closely with leaders across Technology, Product, and related business functions

Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and leadership effectiveness

Lead performance, talent review, and succession planning processes

Coach leaders through employee relations matters, organizational change, and business transformation

Manage and develop a team of two HR Business Partners Partner with Centers of Excellence across talent, compensation, employee relations, inclusion, and people operations

Use workforce data and people insights to support business decisions and talent outcomes

Drive key people initiatives aligned to business priorities

Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture

Act as a hands-on HR partner on complex employee and labor relations matters

What We’re Looking For
10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience

Experience supporting technology, engineering, product, digital, or innovation-focused organizations

Prior people leadership experience

Strong employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and leadership coaching capabilities

Experience working within unionized and non-union environments

Track record partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions

Experience operating within complex, matrixed organizations

Strong analytical skills and comfort leveraging people data to drive recommendations

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

The Right Person

Experience with in technology, software, digital, media, product-led, or innovation-driven organizations

Comfortable operating in sophisticated HR environments with complex stakeholder groups

Experience supporting engineering, technology, or product teams through growth and change

Credible with senior leaders while remaining approachable and hands-on Strong coaching and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across all levels

Able to navigate complex employee and labor relations matters with sound judgement

Enjoys being embedded in the business and acting as a true strategic partner

We’re looking for someone who combines executive presence with genuine approachability. Someone who can build credibility quickly, coach leaders effectively, navigate complex employee and labor relations matters, and influence organizational outcomes.
