Business Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team and drive large-scale projects from initiation through delivery. This role requires expertise in analyzing current state processes, defining future state solutions, and serving as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This is a hybrid role based in Dutchess County, NY.

• Analyze and document current state (“as-is”) business processes and assist in designing future state (“to-be”) solutions
• Lead and manage detailed requirements gathering and documentation (functional and non-functional)
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
• Facilitate design walkthroughs and review sessions with stakeholders and development teams
• Participate in defining test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Support QA teams by reviewing test plans, validating requirements, and assisting with UAT execution

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on large-scale projects
• Strong expertise in requirements management and business process modeling
• Proficient in functional and non-functional documentation
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Familiarity with Jira or similar project tracking/testing tools
