As an Audit Manager you will be part of IAG’s Internal Audit team in the New York City or Charlotte office. You will learn about AIG’s products and services and participate in audit projects across General Insurance, while building relationships with business leaders and other assurance teams.

You will plan and execute all aspects of the audit process and risk assessment activities, and collaborate with business areas and functional stakeholders, IAG and other assurance teams to provide assurance and insight.

You will work with audit engagement teams to verify management’s corrective actions, identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, and provide guidance for junior staff. You will help ensure audits are delivered on time and that staff are utilized effectively. You will assist in developing individual audits and participate in the development and execution of an audit plan. You will collaborate across global functional audit teams for an integrated approach to insurance risks and audit testing.

You will contribute to the overall value of IAG by recommending innovative approaches such as data analytics, automation, and Agile audit methodology.

• 3+ years of general audit experience within Financial Services or Insurance
• A certified professional qualification (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP) is preferred
• Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• People management experience
• Ability to function independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. MS Excel, Access, ACL, IDEA, Qlikview, Tableau) is a plus
• Resourceful team player with a can-do attitude

For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $99,000 - $118,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus. AIG offers a range of competitive benefits, a summary of which can be viewed here: US Benefits.
