Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical foundation, be an excellent team player, and adhere to established processes while maintaining the flexibility to think creatively and innovate.

• Design, configure, implement, and support security solutions for both service provider and enterprise environments, serving clients in Greece and internationally.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement security solutions and services.
• Assist and educate the Product Owner in refining, managing, and prioritizing product backlog items.
• Troubleshoot complex issues affecting critical infrastructure and production networks.
• Conduct periodic security audits and assessments of firewall infrastructure to ensure optimal security posture.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, network protocols, and security architecture.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Security Engineering or operation role.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Check Point firewalls
  .
• Experience in routing and switching, including configuration, and troubleshooting of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network devices in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cyber Ark Pam is an added advantage.
• Familiarity working with SIEM solution (Qradar).
• Prior experience working closely with IT teams, including system administrators and network engineers, to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
