Position: CLIENT HELPDESK ANALYST
Location: Town of Goshen

Cherry Road is seeking to hire a Helpdesk Analyst for a fully on-site role at a client location in Goshen, NY. This position requires working on-site every day to provide in-person support. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team. Responsibilities include answering helpdesk phone calls, providing hands-on client support at the site, and assisting with project-related tasks.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Serve as the primary Helpdesk point of contact for IT-related issues.
  • Provide technical support to customers both by phone and in-person at the client site.
  • Perform initial triage, assignment, and resolution of tickets, ensuring that all updates are accurately documented.
  • Create and maintain knowledgebase articles and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Escalate and communicate issues and infrastructure alerts to the 2nd Level Support team as needed.
  • Act as a liaison during major incidents to support efficient communication and resolution.
  • Follow established troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Travel to additional government buildings within Orange County, NY as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or Network Operations Center environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructures.
  • At least 1 year experience with IT ticketing systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Some basic network experience or familiarity with network troubleshooting preferred
