Junior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Support:
  Assist in building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Server Management:
  Support the administration and monitoring of Linux-based Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and cloud environments.
• Containerization:
  Work with Docker to containerize applications and ensure environment consistency.
• Automation:
  Write and maintain simple scripts (Bash, Python) to automate routine operational tasks.
• Monitoring & Logging:
  Implement and maintain basic monitoring and logging systems to track application and server health.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve workflow efficiency.
• Documentation:
  Maintain documentation for processes, tools, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in IT operations, system administration, or a related Dev Ops role.
• Linux/VPS:
  Good working knowledge of Linux OS and experience managing a Virtual Private Server (VPS).
• Containerization:
  Hands-on experience with Docker is required.
• Scripting:
  Basic proficiency in Bash or Python for automation.
• Version Control:
  Experience with Git and fundamental branching concepts.
• CI/CD Fundamentals:
  Familiarity with the concepts of continuous integration and continuous delivery (e.g., using Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar).
• Networking:
  Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).

Preferred Skills

• Basic experience managing and configuring Nginx or Apache web servers.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or basic ELK stack).
• Experience with managing and troubleshooting SSL/TLS certificates.
• Basic experience with database backup and recovery procedures (e.g., MySQL, Postgre
