OverviewWe’re seeking a visionary Head of Engineering — Geospatial/Perception to lead the development of advanced AI systems that understand and reason about the physical world through geospatial data. The RoleAs Head of Engineering — Geospatial/Perception, you will:
- Architect and own the ML strategy for geospatial AI.
- Lead research and development of models for spatial-temporal reasoning, object detection, and anomaly detection across satellite, aerial, and IoT data streams.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of ML engineers and researchers.
- Drive innovation in areas like geometric deep learning, multimodal fusion, and generative modeling for geospatial applications

- Proven experience leading ML teams and setting technical direction.
- Expertise in geospatial analytics, remote sensing, or 3D perception (e.g., satellite imagery, LiDAR, GIS).
- Strong track record of deploying ML systems from research to production.
- Fluency with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow) and models for spatial data (CNNs, GNNs, transformers).
- Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable technical roadmaps.
- PhD in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or related field.
- Background in defense, aerospace, or environmental modeling.
- Experience integrating perception models with LLMs or agent-based systems.
- Publications in top-tier ML or geospatial conferences.
