About the RoleWe’re looking for a Solutions Consultant based in New York to play a key role in our pre‑sales process, crafting solutions and being a thought partner to both our Go‑to‑Market organization and our clients. This is an early‑stage opportunity to shape the function and accelerate our growth.
What You’ll Do- Partner closely with finance, accounting, and operations leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of Mandrel’s ERP platform and solve business problems.
- Manage pre‑sales projects, ensuring feasibility of proposed solutions and lead proof‑of‑concept development with the delivery team.
- Support the GTM team with consultative and solutions‑oriented approaches in prospect meetings, translating solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals, and related materials.
- Advise on integrating Mandrel into clients’ broader tech stack, navigating complex systems such as WMS, CRM, and BI tools.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers for consultative technical and business problem‑solving.
- Customer‑focused with genuine interest in prospects’ businesses and challenges.
- Curious & intelligent, able to synthesize complex information and master new subjects.
- Autonomous, capable of operating independently and presenting metrics and results.
- Commercially savvy with strong stakeholder management.
- Exceptional communicator, able to explain technical solutions to non‑technical audiences verbally and visually.
- 4+ years of overall experience, ideally spanning a tech‑focused company and a corporate environment.
- 2+ years in Solutions Consulting or similar roles (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Engineering, Technical Account Management) in ERP SaaS or Fintech.
- Experience integrating ERPs or CRMs within complex tech stacks and driving technical consultative partnerships with CFOs and Controllers.
- Bonus: accounting experience (CPA or direct work with accountants/controllers).
- Bonus: familiarity with specific ERPs/IMS systems such as Netsuite, Fulfil.io, Cin7, Brightpearl, Doss, Luminous, Odoo, and Goodday.
- Impact: be the first full‑time Solutions Consultant, shaping the playbook and driving commercial success.
