We’re hiring a Backend Lead to own and scale the backbone of Superform v2 — from APIs and data pipelines to production infrastructure and integrations. You’ll be both hands-on and strategic: writing code, shaping architecture, running Dev Ops, and managing a small backend/data team. Every line of code and every decision you make will directly impact thousands of users and millions in assets.

You’ll set priorities, mentor engineers, and create the standards that let Superform move fast without breaking.

• Own Backend Infrastructure. Lead design and operation of APIs, microservices, and Dev Ops (Kubernetes + AWS/GCP).

• Scale Data Systems. Architect real-time and batch pipelines that index onchain events, power Superform’s marketplace, and analyze yield data.

• Manage Reliability & Uptime. Define and enforce monitoring, alerting, and incident response standards; own SLAs across backend systems.

• Bridge Product Protocol. Work with protocol engineers on primitives like Super Vaults and Super
  
  USD, ensuring backend services unlock their full potential.

• Guide a Small Team.
  **** Mentor backend/data engineers, run code reviews, set best practices, and keep milestones on track.

• Live and breathe DeFi. ERC-4626 vaults, ERC-7540, ERC‑4337 bundlers, ERC‑7579 smart accounts, ERC-7683 bridges, these are all things you’ve already had direct experience with.

• Proven leader. You’ve managed small backend or data teams and know how to set standards without bureaucracy.

• Self-starter. You thrive in high-autonomy, high-stakes environments.

• Systems thinker. You build for security, scalability, and resilience from day one.

• Treat tests, monitoring, and post-mortems as first-class engineering work.

• Strong communicator — you set clarity, over-communicate when needed, and can translate between technical and product stakeholders.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent real-world mastery.

• Production experience with:

  • Go (or another deep systems language)

  • Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes

  • SQL & scalable data stores (Postgres, Click House, Dagster)

• Native fluency with blockchain tooling: subgraphs, JSON-RPC/Web3 libraries, basic Solidity comprehension.

• 2+ years of team leadership, mentoring, or project ownership in a backend/data role.

• Ability to overlap 09:00–13:00 ET (13:00–17:00 UTC) for stand-ups and pair sessions.

• Comfort meeting SLA targets — 24×7 uptime is table stakes.

• Deep expertise in on-chain data indexing or real-time market data feeds.

• Prior work with account abstraction (ERC-4337) or smart-contract wallets.

• Experience scaling high-volume financial exchanges, HFT systems, or DeFi protocols.
