We are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Information System who will be responsible for providing support on various financial systems, including troubleshooting system issues, maintaining system security, assigning roles and permissions, migrating and backing up financial data, designing and creating reports, leading projects on various global hospitality systems, as well as providing testing and training, among other duties. This position will require collaboration with system end-users, understanding their needs and its impact on various systems.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate and manage projects including reporting progress to stakeholders and tracking costs against budget
- Facilitate communication between management and end-users to ensure an effective approach to achieve an optimal solution
- Manage any implementation or enhancement of financial system(s) at Group level and expand to offices in overseas countries
- Identify and resolve issues on current financial system workflows including modification of system specifics
- Supervise data mapping, integration and reconciliation between financial system(s)
- Manage system administrator tasks for different stakeholders including assign access rights and maintain system security
- Assess system controls and develop procedures to improve financial system(s) as well as work with external IT auditor
- Work closely with external vendors for any system patch release, issues and/or new financial system implementation
- Work closely with IT for monitoring system hardware, applications, and patching status
- Provide technical support and training to users on various financial systems
- Prepare project documentation including business requirements, business flow diagram and user manuals
- University graduate in Information Systems or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years working experience in system management including solid experience on supporting, implementation or enhancement of any financial systems
- Well knowledge of SQL and VBA Scripts, API and BI tools is a must
- Knowledge of core hospitality and financial systems (e.g. Opera
PMS, Infrasys, Micros POS, Sun Systems or HFM) is preferred - Proficient in MS Office applications and financial reporting systems
- Effective ability to prioritize and execute in a timely manner
- Motivated and self-starter who takes ownership
- Good communication, organization and analytical skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
